Advanced Audio Setup
Virtual Dj 10 Full Version
Basic Setup:
If you're using a Windows operating system, download and install the DENON DJ ASIO driver to ensure that you have the latest available version.
From the rear of the Denon MC6000MK2, under the USB Audio Mode section, position the input switch to the middle position under CH3/4. This is the default sound configuration for use with Virtual DJ 8.
Open Virtual DJ 8.
Log into your Virtual DJ account if prompted.
With Virtual DJ 8, the software actually automatically detects your DJ controllers soundcard when it's connected for easy setup. Click on Use Soundcard.
Click Ok. That's it! You've successfully setup your MC6000MK2 in Virtual DJ 8.
Advanced Audio Setup:
For advanced setup controls in Virtual DJ 8 such as using auxiliary devices, recording with a microphone, and DVS timecode setup, refer to the directions below. Input Channels 3/4 (Default Virtual DJ Setting):
This mode is used to output signals from the input channels 3 & 4 to your computer. Set the USB Audio Out switch to CH3/4.
Input Channel 3: Output from the USB 1/2 channels to the computer
Input Channel 4: Output from the USB 3/4 channels to the computer
Use this mode to pass auxiliary media sources that's connected to the Line Inputs 3 and 4. To use this setup, follow the setup as shown in the screen shot below.

Once the Line Inputs are set as above, the AUX panels as shown below will appear on the 2 decks default skin.
Rec Out & Mic Setup:
This mode is used to output signals for REC OUT and MIC input to the computer. Set the USB Audio Out switch to REC OUT/MIC.
REC OUT output: Output form the USB 1/2 channels to the computer
MIC input: Output from the USB 3/4 channels to the computer.
Use this mode to record the Master Output of Virtual DJ, the auxiliary sources (what's connected to the Line Inputs on the mixer) and the Microphone Inputs too. To use this setup, follow the setup as shown in the screen shot below.

DVS Timecode Setup:
This mode is used to output signal for input channels 3 & 4 to the computer without passing through the mixer. This setup is ideal for DVS Timecode Setup. Set the USB Audio Out switch to LN3/4 THRU.
LINE3: Output from the USB 1/2 channels to the computer.
LINE4: Output from the uSB 3/4 channels to the computer.
You can connect your CD players or turntables to Line Inputs 3 & 4. To use this setup, follow the setup as shown in the screen shot below.

Once the timecode inputs are set as above under Audio Setup, the timecode panels will appear at the Scratch center panel of the default 4 deck skin. Use the ON buttons to enable timecode control for your desired deck.
Note: Timecode function requires a Virtual DJ Pro Infinity license.
